With 1500 employees at 14 locations, skyguide provides air navigation services in Switzerland and neighbouring countries. In 2021, just under 0.7 million (in the years before the pandemic, around 1.3 million) civil and military aircraft were guided safely and efficiently through Europe's most densely congested airspace.
Skyguide offers several courses each year to qualify as a "dipl. air traffic controller HF". Diploma air traffic control specialists are also trained.
