SANDSTONE

Mystery Sci-Fi Series from Bern
A secret special unit known as “Sandstone” investigates cases involving fringe science in Bern. A mysterious theft at the Historical Museum and a cold-blooded murder bring the team, led by clairvoyant Michelle Dupont, into action. Security employee Anais Garcia unexpectedly gets caught up in the events as well, drawing her into the greatest adventure of her life.
When time itself begins to unravel during their investigation, “Sandstone” finds itself caught in an absurd and hair-raising adventure.
“Sandstone” is a 12-part low-budget production from Bern. With an incredible amount of passion and dedication, 80 people worked alongside series creator and filmmaker Markus von Känel over 45 days of filming to bring the first five episodes to life: “Beginning”, “Home”, “Trygon”, “The 5th Dagger” and “The Laughing Man”.
At HeroFest, members of the cast and crew will be there in person. Visitors will also be able to discover the pilot episode “Beginning”, behind-
