Creators, scene stars and Swiss rappers battle it out at the 2nd Red Bull Gamerations for the first time at HeroFest
In the second edition of Red Bull Gamerations, teams from three generations – led by ML Gamer, Aditotoro and T-Ronimo – compete in legendary games from the last few decades. The winner of the battle of video game history 2025 will be decided on Saturday, 4 October at HeroFest (premiere!) in Bern. For the first time, Swiss rap stars Gigi and EAZ will also be making an appearance.
THE GAMES
4 games from 4 decades
This year, four legendary bangers will be played again – one from each decade. The creators Aditotoro and Wizdomblendz will decide in advance which games will be played by drawing lots.
The choices are:
1980s: Pac-Man, DOOM, Defender
1990s: Pokémon Red, Half-Life, Super Mario 64
2000s: Halo, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, GTA San Andreas
2010s: GTA V, Portal 2, Fortnite
THE TEAMS
3 teams from 3 generations
Red Bull Gamerations pits three teams of creators against each other, divided into the age groups 18 to 25, 26 to 30 and 31 to 35. Each team represents its ‘gameration’ and gives its all to win. Last year, Team Zillennials led by Aditotoro took home the trophy – what will the other two teams do this time to avoid the cringe of defeat?
• Team Youngsters
Led by streamer ML Gamer and completed by creator Simobonito and rapper Gigi, this team covers the 18 to 25 age group. They are the youngest players at Red Bull Gamerations and will rely on their freshness and responsiveness.
• Team Zillennials
Led by Aditotoro and with the combined power of Red Bull player Elquaria and star barber Wizdomblendz, they represent the 25 to 30 age group, combining the best of both worlds: youth and a little experience and vibe.
• Team Retro
They represent the 31 to 35 age group, consisting of T-Ronimo (captain), rapper EAZ and streamer Deadinzoid. They make up for their lack of agility with their quick tongues. They also grew up with the retro titles from the last millennium and know them inside out.
